Make a simple rhythmic sequence and consider changing octaves in the off beats. Play with adding accents in rhythmic ways as well.
Add some long dub style delays with plenty of reverb.

Knobs to tweak while playing a sequence:
Cutoff / between 9 – 12 o'clock
Resonance / between 9 – 3 o'clock
Decay / between 10 – 2 o'clock
